Shri Ram College of Commerce, a premier and prestigious institution in the field of commerce and economics education in the country, was founded in 1926 by Sir Shri Ram, a leading educationist, philanthropist and industrialist, to prepare young men and women for careers in business. The college celebrated its Platinum Jubilee in 2000-2001.A constituent college of University of Delhi, Shri Ram College of Commerce is located on its main Campus.

The Founder of Shri Ram College of Commerce was born on April 27, 1884. First son of Madan Mohan Lal and Chando Devi, Shri Ram completed his school and college education in Delhi and joined the family business DCM in 1900. Current Designation - Madhur is currently associated with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as their Global Compensation Director providing strategic reward management support to more than 90 offices across 60+ countries.
Experience Being part of the second batch of the GBO program we were the new kids on the block. Aspirations were sky high and so was the challenge of getting our new GBO program noticed. The glorious faculty at SRCC were a blessing and imparted top notch technical and conceptual knowledge to their students. This gave us the confidence to take on the world even though our resources were limited. Thanks to the GBO program I was able to live and work in a number of countries across the world. I must say I had great expectations from GBO since the course highlights were interesting considering the current world we are living in where we are constantly focusing on something called GLOCAL also the fact that it's part of the prestigious cult college of India with state of the art infrastructure, SRCC. And as my career progresses through these years I constantly keep relating things back to my GBO experiences and understand how it fulfilled my every expectation.
Am sure you guys are all aware of the technical and theoretical gyan that you will acquire during this course but the most important thing for me was the fact that it made me a business minded person. I realized I was able to think process, solutions analytical solutions to be precise. Coming to my journey post GBO, I was lucky to have like minded friends to start a company of our own, or so called co-founded a startup "Tap & Eat" and it was a great learning experience of overall business. It lasted for over 1 year and we could not continue further but the learnings from there made me a much better business person in years to come. Post this I joined Swiggy which was in its very initial expansion phase and again my learnings came into action and I moved up the growth ladder with Swiggy very rapidly from launch manager I became regional marketing manager and then regional growth manager, all in 3 years time.
Post my understanding of the ever-dynamic startup culture finally I decided to start my corporate journey with Star Tv where I currently work as Marketing lead for Star Sports. And to this date I constantly thank SRCC for making me a person who learned to think with a business mind. That mindset along with the work experience you gather as you progress in my opinion will make you a good business leader. Correct Answer: +4 marks
Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes).
Sectional Timing: There will be no sectional timing for this test.
Language: The test will be conducted in English.
